You guessed it, time for installment #5 of the Blind Tasting Mystery Stick Series.  Ok, maybe you didn't have to guess, the title makes it obvious...Just play along!  Alright, today's CC festivities began under a partly cloudy sky, and a temp just a couple degrees warmer than yesterday, about 50F.  What we have is obviously a petit corona, with a decent wrapper and perfect draw.  After lighting it and allowing it to get going, I put some through the old proboscis and BAM!!  HOLY EFFIN FECAL MATTER!!!  Instant powerhouse, instant flavor bomb, WOW!  Blasts of milk coffee, cake, and spice annihilated my snot factory!  Fantastic!  How have I not known about these small format flavor devices?  The intensity of flavor varied throughout, ranging from OMG to EXPLETIVE EXPLETIVE EXPLETIVE!  Now, during this time, I kept trying to pin down the cake flavor and I finally had an epiphany...Sponge Cake, and now you know!  It's probably been decades since I last had Sponge Cake and it took a thorough scouring of my memory banks to bring it to bear.  So, we have coffee, Sponge Cake, and spice, I'm thinking Partagas.  In fact, it's a dead ringer for Mystery Stick #3...a PSD4, only much more intense.  It was this intensity that made me think Bolivar a couple times, but the DNA screamed Party.  My guess therefore, was that is was a Partagas Short.  Was I right?...of course not.  The correct answer, boys and girls, is...Bolivar Coronas Junior.  Naturally!  My reign as God Emperor of Cigar Tasters lasted exactly one day.  Dammit.  One more to go, and I want to get it right!

Sean - 1       Mystery Sticks-4

Today's phenom, a Boli CJ, also, a bonus pic of some fall colors (past peak, but still a decent show).  Cheers.

As i was reading i was thinking Partagas Short too based on the one i had last week. Haven't tried the Bolivar CJ. I like a bit of a powerhouse so i'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the review series. Each day I've actually been looking forward to your next one.
