Been a lurker for a short while, but a Cuban cigar smoker for a lot longer I have to admit.  I have a good size collection of cigars I smoke (I am not an investor collector like that) from Behike's 52, 54's to Grand Reserva that include

Cohiba Siglo VI Cosecha 2003

Partagas Lusitanias Cosecha 2007

Rome and Julietta Wide Churchills 2009

I also collect a few special Cubanna Humidors and this one I like a lot I just received

I also have a custom Aristocrat in the book shelf humidor and another cooled Aristocrat cabinet on the way. (Running outta room, plus I need a 68deg cooled unit for the hot summers as I have a hard time keeping the current unit below  75 deg F).

Since I am a little bit older now and don't have time for 5-10 year aging or more importantly the patience, I try to obtain many vintage smokes. Some of my favorites are this one I am actually smoking as I write this is a 2008 Siglo VI. An amazing smoke smooth and earthy I cherish a lot and one of the best smokes in a awhile I would rate right up there.

Some of the other vintage smokes I have (not all as I've rambled enough)
Trinidads
La Gloria, (I love the recent regional editions as well, such as the 2014 Carribean Edition - Seems the La Gloria's are very underrated at times overshadowed by the big named brands).

Monte's #4's

R&J's
Hoyo de Monterrey

For the new cigars I have without much aging, my favorite has to be the Ramon Allones Specially Selected Cabinet 50. I love this everyday smoke!

Anyhoot, glad to be here and looking forward to talking great Cuban Smokes, it appears I am in great company around here.  One last thing is I am happy to report, I am leaving for Cuba on October 1st for 5 days and I am counting the days!  I have several private tours lined up at a few farms, sorting houses and factories along with some elementary schools and libraries. this will be my first trip.

Thanks guys.  I hope to take some great pics of the tobacco farms while I'm in Cuba, with the owners permission of course. Since I'm stocked up on many of the famous brands here, I am going to explore some of the local Cuban cigars like this one a friend brought back last month I smoked he got at a grocery store in Havana. Amazingly good for a local brand vs, any cheap cigar I've smoked and even rivaled some so-called good Dom's and Nic's I've smoked. Plus, I can bring a large amount of these smokes for $100!
