I only noticed a few days ago that FOH has hit 15000 members. Many of our new members are also new to Cuban cigars and we all know how that feels....exciting and daunting at the same time :o

We were all there once and it would take a brave man or woman to say that they know all that there is to know about Cuban cigars. Hell, my own thoughts and preferences are constantly challenged and that is the way it should be.

Based on your taste and from current Cuban production (not discontinued), what would you choose in the below categories?

For newcomers to Cuban cigars you will see (hopefully) a host of opinions.

  • Look for those cigars that re-occur.
  • Start a list of things you would like to try.
  • Hit singles where possible
  • Over time (as you smoke through different cigars recommended) identify those members with whom your tastes are similar. Follow their recommendations, reviews.  We all have different palates so it makes sense to follow those recommendations from members who's tastes seem most alligned to your own.

The Queen of the sub 42 guage cigars?

I am not sure why I associate sub 42 guage cigars with femininity. It is not meant to be demeaning by any means, I just love the elegance and often the richness of such cigars.

Your Top three sub 42 guage cigars today?

1.

2

3

The Princes of the 42 guage to 46 guage cigars?

Now you are in my territory of preference. So many to choose from however, if it were your coin and from the current crop of Cuban production, pick your top 3.

1.

2.

3.

The Kings of the 47 guage and over cigars.

Plethora of choice. Again, if it were your coin and from the current crop of Cuban production, pick your top 3.

1.

2.

3.

I hope that this exercise provides some guidance

Lol, still pondering a list... worried, as you are, that naming certain sticks will reduce the amount available (just kidding... or am I?).... two of my fave skinnies have been named. If people keep mentioning PLMC's I'm gonna freak out.

Ok, if you are new to CC's, don't buy Por Larranaga Monte Carlo. They are horrible, just terrible. The members that mention them are 'taking the piss' when they say they're awesome, only need a couple of yrs age to smoke wonderfully and are an excellent c&c. Don't even bother with them, awful cigars.

LOLOLOLOL!
