RASS RAE EBR 15 Dog a Bone Competition

If memory serves me correctly, I traded Bill for a few of these. There is much good surrounding this cigar, at least that's what I read, but the 2 I've previously smoked were disgusting. This has sat for months in the humidor, as I just didn't want to smoke it.

V cut and cold draw, not much going on, just some earthiness.

Fired it up and initially got hints of earth and leather. Those 2 puffs were great and went downhill from there.

This became a dirty mess. That's really the only way I can describe it. Harsh and dirty. Pitched just into the second third. I've had 2 year old and 1 year old RASS, and I just don't see what the deal is. Needless to say I won't be looking for these anytime soon.

I have the same box code. Bster summed up my view...they are a full smoke when young!

Yeah, as to the box code, I'm going off the paper band that was on the foot. Never heard of the code but also not a RASS smoker, so I just rolled with it. When I smoked the 2 year, it was also quite the same for me.

Now RASCC I enjoy a decent amount, so this was one time I'm glad I tried a few of a different size before pulling the trigger

I too am in the minority when it comes to these cigars.  I have gone through a couple of boxes over the years, but I have never developed an affinity for them.  Just not my cup of tea.
