SLR Serie A 2013 vs. 2014

I need your help again.. I really enjoyed the Blind Tasting SLR Serie A from MOE (Oct?)14... But I can get my hands only on TGA 13 boxes which Look nice - but do they have the class of the ones we got from 14?

I love SLR's, the DC and serie A are probably my two favourite cigars. I have a box of the TGA March 13 and I've smoked 10, the rest have been confined to the aging humi but it's hard not to re visit them. Stone fruit in spades, don't hesitate.

I agree. I have a RET 13 box which has been brilliant. The sample I received in the blind tasting was a wind tunnel and tasted pretty meh. Don't hesitate, like potpest said.

And it means 2014 is a bad year for the Serie A? Based on a sample of 1 cigar?

Not at all. I was not meaning to imply that 2014 was a bad year (especially based on 1 sample), but rather encouraging a 2013 (or any) box of Serie A as was the original question. My statement of "don't hesitate" should be expended to include "don't hesitate to pick up the Serie A regardless of 13 vs 14. They are enjoyable cigars and not always readily available."

I've had about half a box of ULE JUL 14 Serie A that have been tasty. For my tastes, my 13 box has been more enjoyable. And yes, the 1 sample I had from the Blind competition was a poorly constructed sample and not enough to gauge anything on.

Well then thanks guys... seems to be i have to order again..

At least my wife enjoyed her 2 or 3 puffs of the blind tasting too and hopefully won't be that miserable about me ordering far more than i can smoke
