Ken Gargett Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 i know that there are a number of fans of four pillars gin on the forum. called Cousin Vera's Gin, it is a joint venture gin between four pillars and santamania from madrid, apparently the first signature distillery to open in spain in decades. only tiny production, half bottled in spain and half here. but the same gin, just different bottles. $85. i'll be trying one tonight. the guys recommend using it in a dirty martini or a G&T with lemon and rosemary garnish. 1
Corylax18 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Let us know how it is. I am always interested to hear about new Gins. Its surprising to me, considering the popularity of the G&T in Spain, that so little good Gin comes from the country. As I understand it the G&T craze there has only been recent, so maybe distillers are just starting to catch up? 1
JohnS Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Gin and Tonic with a lemon and rosemary garnish...I am intrigued!
potpest Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Gin and Tonic with a lemon and rosemary garnish...I am intrigued! Rosemary-Lemon-Gin-and-Tonic-10.jpg It's good, give Pink Grapefruit and basil a try for something totally different; I was amazed how good it was. 1
