no googling.

what was james cameron's first film as a director?

some clues, he apparently also did the screenplay under the alias H. A. Milton - i wonder if that was meant to be HAM?

he took over when the former director was sacked and he also was later sacked although his name remained on it as the contract with production demanded a non-italian name as director. most of the crew were italian and spoke no english.

cameron apparently subsequently purchased the cuttings and re-did them as he wished.

it was a sequel.

the entire budget was under $150,000 and it has been described as a strong candidate for the worst film ever. the kindest review i could find suggested it was "abject".

surprisingly, the original film was a lot of fun and one of the very best films in the category of B grade schlock.

Pirhana 2, but I can't remember the name after that because I can't google it. Uprising or something like that?

that was quick. well done. i had no idea. just happened across it.

i think that was the name but in some places it was called 'the spawning' or pirahna 3DD.

also described as "the finest flying killer fish horror/comedy ever made".

The Spawning--what did I win? Only reason I knew was I had a friend in college who love loved James Cameron and claimed he has seen all his films but found out about this one day and had a hard finding a copy of it at the time.

fair enough - as i said, ring rob. better still, sue him. his site!

i'm happy to act as your leading witness (for a fee).

actually, your prize is to sit and watch the film. you'll thank me.

my favourite scene is where two boats crash into each other. unfortunately one explodes when it is still about 6 yards from the other. i assume special effects got excited and pressed the trigger a smidge early.

You've got a deal. 1.) PM me his phone number 2.) I just hope your fee isn't as high as the previous expert witnesses I used to hire when I practiced Website Tort. and 3.) I will watch it in your honor.
