Smoking through my second box and I will keep going until finished throughout the course of this week , absolutely magnificent cigar. From memory I don't think they received to much good press upon release.

Now they are on big time, and for me its all leather and earth with a nice long toasty finish . If you some put away I urge to fire one up .

Sorry for the xhit pic heading off to work ..have a great day people and let me know what you think good or bad party.gif

Good to hear! I recently picked-up a box from a brother on another forum.

I've sampled cigars from two boxes. The first was purchased and came looking dusty and low quality. The second came from Rob's HQ program a few years ago. I have 3 of the HQ cigars left and they are amazing. The Monte Grand Edmundo gets all the press from that year, but the Partagas is something special too.

good to hear. i had just one from my box and it was dull...very dull. i'll have to revisit come next spring as i'm on cigars hiatus for the winter. i really have to build myself a cigar cave!!!

I´ve got 5 left. Never liked it too much...Smoked the last around may and muted and poor generally. Maybe give it a go soon again...

I'm with you westy, i love this smoke atm. Only a few left.

Edit - agree with your thoughts, esp the long toasty finish. Some cedar notes too. Also I find them just so very smooth. No typical in your face partagas spiciness etc.
