Has anyone got any up-to-date information on how these are going?

I have a single box of these that I have yet to break into.

I assume you are talking about the Monty 2 GR's... To me, they are the at the best level I have tasted at this point. They started out pretty good a few years ago, and have become better and better... To say they have peaked, maybe... I just won't know until I fire up another one in a few months...

A friend shared one with me not too long ago. Was young, lacking any cocoa sweetness, and giving off ammonia. A wise person would buy several boxes of standard production to age. It would have scored extremely low in a blind taste test.

There are so many fake boxes and singles of these out there. I can tell you the boxes I purchased from an LCDH in Havana are absolutely amazing. Always have been. Last one I smoked September in Havana was tremendous.

Best one I had tasted like a well blended Monte 2, but that's few and far between, rest were average with a high price tag

Easy pass for me, spend coin elsewhere
