hjmclain22 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I'm interested in purchasing an Upmann with a smaller RG but not too small, and both of these vitolas stood out to me. For those of you who have smoked both, which do you prefer? I would like to age them for 2-3 years tops, so I am leaning towards to Majors, as many sites suggest that the PCs need 4-5 years to really shine. Curious to see what you all like best. Thanks

The pc is like a mini sir Winnie The major is just as creamy, leathery and sweet but it just has more rough edges. It's better than just a dog walking/yard cigar though. All upmann, for me, lose leather and gain sweetness with age. So both should improve. Both are ready to go from a year in my experience. The PC is just a little smoother and more refined. 5

There will be times you want the in-your-face of the coro major,nothing else will do. As a tubo,it will take much longer to smooth out,and since they seem to be produced sporadically,you cannot always count on them being in stock. Believe me,either one will be simple to find a home for if you do not want them any more.................message ME.......... 2

hjmclain22 Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 I decided to throw caution to the wind and bought a box of the Majors. Also picked up a box of Rafi Perlas and Robs Rotation Now. Will post my thoughts on the Majors when they arrive. Thanks to FOH I've purchased two wineadors in a span of 4 months
