kuma Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 A friend is in Spain (Madrid) and he is going to a cigar shop to pick some sticks up. There is going to be a "Master Roller" from Cuba and will be rolling some pretty serious smokes during the time my friend is there. The rollers name is; Alfredo Martinez and I would just like to know if any mates have ever run across him while in Cuba. He will be custom rolling while at the cigar store. wondering if it is worth buying customs from him Thanks for any input.
jp1979 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Yes, the Robusto with dark wrappers are where it's at. 1
stogieluver Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 I've had a few of his robusto's. Very good. Pick some up. They can also be purchased on line.
egoo33 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Limited experience but the few I have had have been great
Smallclub Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 They can also be purchased on line. Please tell me you're not a customer of that shop. 2
CaptainQuintero Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 If you can try any fresh custom, jump at the chance! Always great to chat to the roller if they are not too busy too.
Phinz Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Please tell me you're not a customer of that shop. Do you have a better source for glass-top Cohibas? lol
stogieluver Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Please tell me you're not a customer of that shop. I know better than that, but I must confess that I did order a bundle of AM's because I was gifted an AM robusto (thanks Bart) and loved it. I'm aware of the issues with that site, but the AM's from there I have no problem with.
Laxman Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Many problems with that shop, but the AM robustos are worth grabbing a bundle of. 2
SurpriseMVP Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 His Robustos are the best. The other sizes/blends are average at best Mike 1
