I'm in the same boat.... Have a bunch of boxes still in queue and my Whytner I bought in July is Tetrised out! Looking at the double stacked wineador's I've been seeing in "what's your set up" thread. Lol.

It's always fun when your wineadors are completely maxed out, yet still have multiple boxes on the way or in the queue with no place to store them. The large, deep Ziplock weathertight storage containers have been a lifesaver for me.

I feel your pain. I got a wineador but now just doing coolerdors with bovedas beyond the wineador for a year or so until I can have a more permanent solution (perhaps an aristocrat)

I've been really considering Aristocrat myself. I just need to find a way to present it to the wife.

Me and you share the same struggle

Buy the Artisocrat and a very nice piece of jewelry. Take delivery. Put said piece of jewelry in the Humi. When she is going ballistic on your purchase, open the humidor and hand her the jewelry. Hopefully the sparkling effect of the jewelry will pull her attention away from your purchase and she will focus on what a great husband you are! Sounds good in theory, but I haven't tested it yet lol.

Easy, many women see it like money going out the door and up in smoke. Sell it sort of like a hobby/investment. Many hobbies out there have $0 payout in the end. The problem I see in collectibles is often the spouse has no clue what stuff is worth after the husband passes. They rely on someone to come in and give them what they hope is a good offer, in reality it often goes at a discount. I myself have gotten crazy good deals. Sometimes you come across a widow that knows her stuff because she was involved in the hobby or he left really good records as to what is what, notes about it why the worth, value, where and how to sell it. I mean look at it from their perspective, there is an expensive piece of furniture in their house loaded with several thousands of dollars of product designed to burn. However, unlike many collectibles, instead of just locking them away, you get to pull them out and enjoy them, sure they loose value if you smoke them but so do classic cars when you drive them, firearms when you shoot them etc. Involve yourself in one of her hobbies as well and you will find she is more open to yours.

If that doesn't work you tell her you want a new Ranger Bass boat with twin 200hp motors. When she asks and you tell her the price, cigars are an easy sell.

My tetris game has become strong too. I'm going to need to upgrade my storage situation soon.

Yes, the old "double cash and no backlash" tactic. I've used it many times!

The Aristocrat humidors look really nice. I hope I can make it through until next summer before entertaining an upgrade.

Alternately, I'll need to find a humidified storage locker service somewhere local.

I would love this option, unfortunately I have no faith in the local BM after trying a few of their cigars and seeing and havinig over-humidification issues.

Just sell it as part of a redecorating project. Sure, you might have to paint a couple walls or buy a new rug and lampshades but that is manageable. Do the work first and then pop the Aristocrat in and say "I really think it brings the room together".... easy peasy.
