But Lobster is not available on an open legal market. If you did get caught as a local there would be more than a slap on the wrist. John

Agree on the prices - diagree on availability on the open market as Rob mentioned earlier. Been buying lobster tails legally for some years now just outside Havana ( Baracoa, 10 minutes from Hemnigway Marina ) from a fisherman licensed to sell them ( plus fish etc ) for 8 cuc per 10 tails. Can pass you the number. Found him through our friend Toby. Same down in Bay of Pigs ( plus a vast array of other ... non-licensed stuff like crab, lion fish, crocodile, jutia etc etc ... 1
