mgravito Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 http://www.cigaraficionado.com/webfeatures/show/id/bolivar-and-ramon-allones-folded-into-foundry-portfolio-18296 I don't know if I'm reading too much in to this, but it does feel like a small step in preparing for a potential end to the embargo. Maybe it's just housekeeping on brands with poor sales?
Puros Y Vino Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Looks like its a lateral move into a boutique area of business vs a preparation for the allowance of CC sales into the USA. A lot more l needs to happen before that comes to pass.
wabashcr Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Article says they're folding them into General's Foundry line, not folding them altogether. I think this has more to do with the fact that nobody buys General's Bolivars or RAs. 1
garbandz Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 New bands look like a Junior Achievement experiment. If these brands were not dead already this should be the coup de'grace............
