So I bought a NC in a tubo at a local B&M upon recommendation from s friend. It was an Avo No. 5. Stupidly, I didn't look inside the tube before buying and when I went to smoke it tonight found a little bit of white mold in two spots on the cigar. Very small spots. None on the foot. I thought I remembered reading that I could just brush it off and smoke it so that's what I did. Now I'm questioning my decision haha. So, foh friends, am I gonna die?

Yes, you are going to die one day, no matter what. Unless you have some suoernatural power... :-P

You'll probably die from the AVO rather than the mold itself.

Certainly, I would die of the embarrassment of admitting I smoked one...

Lots of hate for AVO? It was crafted with the input of Hendrik Kelner and is distributed by Davidoff. A mild and mellow blend that, I think, more matches the softer tastes of a nice Cuban cigar.

I've heard AVO get a bad rap for the price, but the ones I've smoked have left me wanting more.

In my opinion, it wasn't bad. I'm not sure I'd buy it again at the price point but it definitely wasn't a cigar I'd toss out. I prefer a smoke fuller than what it offered but it wasn't a bad cigar by any means.
