...from the northern part of the state, near San Francisco.

I came to cigars only a few months ago, and I've been on fire since. I've been smoking pipes, and in particular enjoying aged tobacco, since the threat of Y2K loomed large over western civilization. So I know my way around a tobacconist a fair bit. I'd largely ignored cigars during the boom, and have only come late. I started with a 5 Vegas sampler that someone (evil) recommended, threw it away and nearly gave up.

...then I smoked a Padron 1964 Maduro (which I'd splurged on, given that its cost was more than an entire tin of boutique quality pipe tobacco) and thought that there might be something to this cigar stuff after all. ;-) And most recently, I've thought about digging into Habanos, which is why I'm here.

So, hello there!

Welcome aboard the slippery slope of Habanos. Once you start...where does it stop?

(Hint: it doesn't)

Enjoy yourself here. Great community and a generally fun place to hang out.

Thanks, everyone! My sons were most excited about the Warriors, for sure.

I've just received a few boxes... and have gotten a second Cuban-only wineador. :-)
