Anthonyjoseph89 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Taking the kid and wife to Orlando this Saturday for a little Disney vacation. Then off to Miami for a few nights to drink the nightmares of Mickey and screaming children away. Any recommendations on spots to hit for cigars down there? Id like to pick up some custom rolls and such.
The Privateer Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 While there is no shortage of cigar places on Calle Ocho, I would strongly recommend giving El Titan de Bronze a visit. They are excellent hosts, particularly if you show interest and knowledge. Their house cigars are excellent (especially the Redemption Maduro), but I am not sure if they offer custom rolls -- I'd be keen to know! El Credito was a disappointment for me, especially since prices seemed strangely higher than normal, condition was awful, and service was lackluster. However, many others have had positive experiences so why not pop in.
Anthonyjoseph89 Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 Being so closed to Cuba I am imagining a place with authentic product little known to majority of the public. Does such a place exist?

Squarehead Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Corona Cigar Shop has 2 shops in Orlando.Just a few weeks ago I was in the one in DT-Orlando which also has the Diamand Crown Lounge.I smoked a cigar in the Lounge and also ate lunch there which was picked up by an employee there after my wife gave him the money and told him what to get.I should add that he offered to get it from just across the street.Even our grandkids loved it there. 1

Their cigar inventory is simply awesome!! They started getting nervous when I pulled out my phone and started taking pictures of the whole place. I said hey, just on vacation and love the store.
Bartolomeo Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Corona Cigar in Orlando and try Cuban Crafters in Miami
Anthonyjoseph89 Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 I'm at corona, the downtown one if anyone wants to drop in last minute
FLB03TT Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Too bad that Cigarz on City Walk at Universal is closed. It was a most welcome respite after a long day at Islands of Adventure / Universal Studios. 1
