Drguano Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I was rooting about (pardon the expression) in my humidor for something for Memorial Day and I came across this unbanded Salamones. Nice shiny wrapper, good color and draw at cold. I lit it up and wow! Thick smoke, molasses, leather, stewed fruit, fantastic! The issue is that I haven't a clue where it is from. I know it was gifted and pretty sure it is a custom roll but I'll never know for sure. Ironic smoke for Memorial Day. So, thanks to anyone who has ever gifted me a cigar! This one is fantastic!

I'm not very good at labeling cigars and the only custom roll Salomones I ever bought were Hamlet's. Glad you enjoyed it! A rare beast now. Other than a few dodgy burns near the beginning, I've never had a bad Hamlet. I've seen some that came back from last November and they had that "Hamlet 11-14" band on them. Mine never had bands other than the few I've applied over the years.
