Meet Joe

My wife has been hinting at a dog for the past several months. We have two young kids, a cat and enough other things to worry about. I've been resistant to say the least. She's been scouring the pet rescue websites for some time now and every dog she shows me I'm able to combat against. Then came Joe Cocker, a cocker spaniel poodle mix, cockerdoo is the generic name I think. I agreed to go see him at the foster home. He was found at 6 weeks of age by himself in inner city Los Angeles. Fortunately he was rescued and had been taken care through foster homes the last several weeks. We were told he is 10 weeks of age. It goes without say, I was taken by the little guy. We took him on the spot!

I'm sitting on the couch as Jo Jo takes his first nap at his new home. I think he's comfortable. I'm happy to have him.

Congrats and love the name. Always good to see people taking in rescue dogs. And having been found in inner city LA he's likely to become one tough dog

Totally understand. My wife and I lost one of our cats to old age and we have since gotten a new kitten. He is a cute little guy.
