Finished up early today at work. Came home to get some chicken ready to grill before the tornado of kids show up. I fired up a Regios after my prep was done and damn what a nice cigar. Nutty and sweet to my taste but a nice stronger cigar with plenty of smoke. The burn was ok, but to be fair it was fairly windy on the deck.

I have another box OTW and plan to let that box sleep for a while. The first box im afraid will be gone sooner than later as long as the current box taste like this one.

Have yet to try one, but liking all the positive feedback. I'm sure Rob will be offering some soon. They seem to be coming up with some frequency in the 24:24. Glad you enjoyed it!

Never had nutty with SLR Regio, but tons of stone fruit. They seem to get better with age, so I'm told. ok.gif

Definitely one of my faves when I want an extra kick! And the fruity notes are crazy - very much a mixed fruit taste to me (as opposed to, say, Ryj Ex #4 which is definitely cherry)

Having one as we speak (PSP/HQ from box ELG JUn 14) and it is living up to the hype here on FOH for a young robusto. I got a woody note to start but it has been the mixed stone fruit that RoRo mentioned and baked bread most of the way (maybe hints of peanuts every now and then).

Thoroughly enjoying it after a weekend of NCs with my friends. 91 for me at the halfway point.post-24125-0-52352800-1427760158_thumb.j

Just finished my first box of Regios. They started out with that great stone fruit in their youth, which I enjoyed. After 2.5 years I saw a pretty dramatic change. They became rich, full bodied, and very satisfying. About to crack into my next box, and I'll have to pickup a spare box to age for a bit while I work on this one. C'mon 24:24!

For those that are tasting stone fruit, which one? The cigar had a sweetness to me but I couldn't pin point any specific one?

I am yet to try one , for those who smoked the DC is there any resemblance in taste?

Not much. The Serie A is closer to the DC.

Actually I like the Regios but I find it the less "clean" and the the most "dispersed" cigar of the marca – if that makes sense.
