I've only had about 40-50 different cc's in my day. Some regional, some le, some aged, some new, different vits, etc. In a sampler I received, I had an '08 Bolivar Belicoso Finos, and it has been my absolute favorite (with an older siglo iii as a close second). I ask anyone with familiarity to that specific age and vitola, is there anything new or old, that resembles such an amazing cigar?

You really liked how the age brought out new flavors in the cigar. You can find that in most cigars with 6-7yrs on them. Try some other cc's with that kinda age, enjoy brother!

unfortunately, i failed to mention i have had a TON of 07-12 aged gars. Nothing is like the BBF. It is quite amazing. If anyone can help, please post up.

I would grab a cab from our host from the 24:24 recent production has been great!

Even if you knew the box code you could not depend on ever finding another one exactly like it.

How many '08 BBF have you had?

How many were close to being like this cigar you had?

I'm sure the cigar was excellent, often it is the environment and atmosphere that makes the great cigars memorable as opposed to just great.

Chasing that experience again will be near impossible, I suggest creating new experiences.

I had to wait 4 years for my BBF to taste great. Before that they were ordinary and boring. I know how you feel, you want your cigars to taste great now. But, then time passes and they end up being great. As far as I know, there's nothing that tastes like an aged BBF, other than an aged BBF. And, unfortunately, there's no substitute for time.

Great advice! Just smoked a BBF yesterday from a recent 24:24 purchase. OUTSTANDING! Glad I pulled the trigger on these.
