Magpie Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Now I know that there are many CC purists on this forum, wen me to me some extent, but I am open to try and enjoy NC cigars. Recently thought I'd get in some NC to add some variety. Tonight had a Padron 2000 Maduro. Like all the Padron series cigars it looks like it's been rolled by a miner who has just got off a 12 hour shift, but don't let that put you off. It's a rustic looking stick, but has something manly about it. Burn and draw were flawless and no issues at all with construction. Started out with a lot of strong leather and dark chocolate, for the first third, second third eased off a little with some vanilla and pepper, then got back to being full on for the last third. I'm not one for reviews, but this for me is full bodied stick, and to be honest not bad. I really enjoy my CC cigars but i can appreciate a good a cigar, and the Padron 2000 Maduro is not bad
RijkdeGooier Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 2000 and 3000 are great cigars esp price/quality wise. Nothing wrong with a little NC now and then to scratch that full flavored itch
MIKA27 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Padrons are my favourite NC's and I love to 2000 and 3000's
bradbrennan Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Good for you! I wish I could taste all that in the Padron, I used to, don't know what happened
dicko Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Padron 2000 is in my top 5 of all time. Only nc I've tried that I really like Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
cns187 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 2000 was one of my first ever box purchases. Solid stick.
fdm Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 The Padron Maduro 2000 and Padron Londres Maduro are some of my favourite NC sticks. 1
David67 Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 My only problem with the Padron 2000 is that the draw is too loose. 1
Ginseng Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 A reliable cigar. Classic and a staple in my stock. Wilkey
Walt69 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Padron 2000 M was my go to value stick for awhile, then i bumped to the 3000 which was and still is one of my favorites.
smokenj Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I used to attack boxes of 3000s on the daily before I moved to CC.
earthson Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 My only problem with the Padron 2000 is that the draw is too loose. Definitely true for most regular series Padrons. The Anniversary series, however, are often rolled tight like a CC.
CigarConnectionVietnam Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 As you said, Padron 2000 Maduro is not bad, but as I smoked it, I nearly only has coffee flavor and it makes me feel bore as a result...Padron 2000 can be used as a daily-smoking cigar I think.
