My box came from our host, BMU SEP 13. Trying not to plow through them all, not having much success. Shared one two nights ago with a friend, just an unbeatable cigar for the price, and gives most any robusto a run. Great mouth feel, tons of smoke, sweet, a little spice...wonderful. That and the construction and draw of my box has been spot on.

Probably need another box or two of these wonderful smokes....they are quite good.

"Blegh..." <-- Every JLS2 I've had so far :-/

Just tossed my JL2 not even finishing the first 3rd. Flavor was decent but draw&burn = awful!

Had a BBF on standby.... Words do not describe how good. Chocolate goodness!

Though I don't smoke many robustos, a box of JL2 is always in the humi.

Current box is PSM SEP13, and smoked one last night - about a third of the way through the box

Loved it - sweet, fruit spice, great volume of smoke.

Slight an even burn, but no noticeable impact on the flavour. ok.gif

Smoked JLS2 last Friday night. Purchased as a single from Pres last year. Not sure if it was 2014 or 2013 stick. I really enjoyed it. The burn was true with a nice cone even after I forgot my jet lighter and stuffed up the lighting of the cigar a little with unevenness. A little adjustment fixed that. The ash hanged on well with a speckled greyish tinge to it. I feel it was still just a touch green or maybe could have done with some dry boxing. I may have rushed a little and it went out towards middle of the final third. It was getting a little hot towards the end but I still wanted to nub it. It was medium bodied. The flavours I can only really describe as rich tobacco with maybe some leather and wood. There was a hint of sweetness occasionally and I reckon with more age they would be more pronounced. I may have slightly dulled my palate though by warming up with two pints of IPA then switching to rum with a dash of coke for the cigar. Very approachable for a young robusto. I have been nailed to my chair with some young D4's before and CORO's due to a big tobacco hit. Being an occasional cigar smoker I usually don't look to the big hit from a robusto but this cigar I would definitely look to purchase again. Although, I would probably reach for a Punch Punch Corona Gorda to fulfil a similar smoking moment and take a little more time.

I bought a box with SEP 13, intended to age them, but tried one to see what I had. I now only have 5 left. Personally, I think I got lucky with this box. They all have been very good

I have a couple of 50 count cabs from 13, and while I have smoked, a stick from each, I believe that I will let them age. While they are nice enough, the 07s I am currently smoking, tell me what those 13s aspire to be.

I bought a single yesterday from my local supplier, who's been talking them up for a while. Just finished smoking it, August 2013, don't know the factory code. No complaints. A very nice, creamy cigar with perfect burn.

I had this cigar last night. It was from the recent 48:48 Robusto sampler sale so it was young and indeed it smoked wonderfully from beginning to end. It was a medium smoke with hints of oak at the start and then it settled into a pleasant, mild and spicy second third. The last third still contained the mild spiciness. It only got hot at the very end, with no after effects on my tongue or the back of my throat. It was everything I enjoy in a cuban cigar.
