I have to say I was pretty impressed! It's like a modern day Austin Powers and James Bond mashup

Agreed, I saw it last week and thought it was quite good and really funny. I think it was a bit too silly for the Girlfriend though.

Yeah idk about the wife wanting to see it but then again she's not exactly asking me to see 50 shades of grey for Valentine's Day with her she's FORCING me too lol

I thought of Kickass also when I heard Matthew Vaughn was attached to this film. As Vaughn had done for that film, taking a comic book superhero theme and making it comedic, so we have the same done here to the spy film genre.

I think if you go to watch this you won't be disappointed...if looking for laughs. However, as a fan of spy genre films, don't discount the old-fashioned ones either. Colin Firth was equally outstanding alongside Gary Oldman in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

I loved (the first) Kick Ass and I loved Kingsman. Laugh out loud crazy violent humour... best movie I've seen for a long time.

But... I know others who did not like it at all. Go figure.
