CigarMike Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'm going to see this movie tonight lets just hope it's not a letdown https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kl8F-8tR8to
parabola66 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Let us know, I have been wondering if it was worth going to the movies for.
Jay Hemingway Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Trailers have looked good. Let us now when you get back.
gigabyte056 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Seen it last week, save your money and time, a cartoon of a movie. Unless you liked kick ass don't bother.
Ginseng Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Well, I liked the first Kick Ass but not the second. So would I like it? Wilkey
CigarMike Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 I'm having high hopes for it I loved kick ass and I even enjoyed the second one so hopefully it's good I'm seeing it tonight at 8 so I'll fill yall in afterwards!
CigarMike Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 I have to say I was pretty impressed! It's like a modern day Austin Powers and James Bond mashup
MattW Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I have to say I was pretty impressed! It's like a modern day Austin Powers and James Bond mashup Agreed, I saw it last week and thought it was quite good and really funny. I think it was a bit too silly for the Girlfriend though.
CigarMike Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Yeah idk about the wife wanting to see it but then again she's not exactly asking me to see 50 shades of grey for Valentine's Day with her she's FORCING me too lol
JohnS Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I thought of Kickass also when I heard Matthew Vaughn was attached to this film. As Vaughn had done for that film, taking a comic book superhero theme and making it comedic, so we have the same done here to the spy film genre. I think if you go to watch this you won't be disappointed...if looking for laughs. However, as a fan of spy genre films, don't discount the old-fashioned ones either. Colin Firth was equally outstanding alongside Gary Oldman in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
rsanz Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I loved (the first) Kick Ass and I loved Kingsman. Laugh out loud crazy violent humour... best movie I've seen for a long time. But... I know others who did not like it at all. Go figure.
Ginseng Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Sounds like I'd like this one. May just wait for the rental though. Wilkey
