Hey, my wife and I are looking to take a jaunt down to the Mayan Riviera later on this spring, in April. The short list of resorts we're looking at is:

- Iberostar Grand Hotel Parasio, Playa Parasio, Playa del Carmen

- Secrets The Vine Cancun Resort & Spa

- Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen

Any thoughts?

Let me ask around. Believe first and last are in PlayaCar so a long walk but a short cab. The other one by the name sounds like Cancun which is 45 mins away.

I will investigate further.

Iberostar and Grand Velas are short taxi rides away. secrets the vine is in Cancun hotel zone so it's longer trip. Enjoy no matter where you go.

Hey Keith,

Check out the Royal( or Porto real if you're bringing the kids). They are nice places and close to the action when you want to get away from the resort and check out some bars and Cigar shops.

Next door to the royal they are soon to open a new Hyatt (or Hilton, one or the other).

Is the shop still there? I am going to PDC in mid december.
