JohnS
Robert Allenby claims he was beaten and robbed after missing the cut in the recent Sony Open in Hawaii. This piqued my interest instantly because I was over there in December, 2014 and I can honestly say that the only place I've felt safer in the USA is New York City. http://espn.go.com/golf/story/_/id/12237198/robert-allenby-stands-story-beating-robbery-hawaii
Duxnutz
I like the strip club story starting to emerge.
Guest rob
It's only because there are rules on the forum prohibiting personal insults that I won't say anything about Robert Allenby. In any case, there is nothing I could say that hasn't been said by many already.
PapaDisco
lol, beaten by hookers and left for dead in Hawaii? That should go on a T-shirt.
wabashcr
What a bizarre story. I don't doubt he was drugged, robbed, and perhaps even beaten, but the kidnapping claim seems preposterous. Especially since multiple witnesses place him in a strip club after the restaurant, where he spent $3400. Any truth to his story is going to be overshadowed by the pretty sensational lie(s). JohnS
You won't be sorry El Pres...it's a great place to visit. Incidentally, Robert Allenby's story seems to have some 'truth' in it as someone did take his credit card! http://www.smh.com.au/sport/golf/honolulu-police-make-arrest-in-robert-allenby-case-20150212-13cwsm.html

Makes sure things are above board etc... Place was called Club Femme Nu. Researched it online, looks to have potential. Definitely worthy of a follow-up investigation in person. wabashcr
Sounds like he was never at that strip club after all, and he was definitely robbed. But earlier reports that he was at Club Femme Nu were a case of mistaken identity, as there were other Australians there (didn't realize you Aussies all look alike!). http://deadspin.com/police-we-still-have-no-idea-what-happened-to-robert-a-1685648496

We certainly don't look alike but at times, especially on vacation, we do act alike!
