Misterblue Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Anyone have/had these from 2009 that can offer some thoughts on their tasting notes? I can't find much about them in terms of review. Thanks.
shlomo Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Meh. Pick up the vr petit robaina instead. Much more enjoyable imo. 1
Puros Y Vino Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I enjoy them. The blend is very similar to the RA Celestiales Finos IMO.
Hafner32 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I enjoy them. The blend is very similar to the RA Celestiales Finos IMO. I agree, I think they are currently quite strong as I got quite the nicotine kick from the last few I had. I believe the best for these is yet to come
Mckucci Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 it was an okay cigar, nothing special IMO.. For the price, there are many other cigars I'd choose before it.
sam Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I picked one up in Ottawa this summer. It's yours for a trade if you like. ----sam
Bartolomeo Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Enjoy the flavor, not the price Its a pass for me
tmac77 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 I enjoy them. The blend is very similar to the RA Celestiales Finos IMO. x2 a very nice cigar. slightly milder than a regular production RA but a smooth cigar to the nub.
Maplepie Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Copy and paste from another forum. Even included the typo.I meant to say RA - not V R-V. Robaina Ramon Allones Petit Unicos. Very good cigar and the cheapest of the 5 that 'taste the same.'RA Francia, RA UK x2, RA Libano, and the RA Asia Pacifico (perfecto). The first four have some variation of belicoso/petit piramide. All five of them have tasted quite similar to me except for the Ramon Allones 2005 UK regional which was noticably better but kind of sour. The V. Robaina Vegas Robaina Petit Unicos Canada is all the good parts but for a fraction of the price. I'd also much rather smoke two of these than one Super Ramon.Sent from the Enigma on Tapatalk for BlackBerry.
Rye Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Not my fave. I find they have a smooth delivery with nice strength & flavours, but they have a bitterness to them that I don't care for, and that's enough to keep me from buying them at their current price

The VR is a fraction of the price? Where??? I've seen them $3 more, but not any less....
Maplepie Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 The VR is a fraction of the price? Where??? I've seen them $3 more, but not any less.... As per the preface, I said V Robaina was a typo. Replace VR with the RA Petit Unicos. Will edit when on computer. Sent from the Enigma on Tapatalk for BlackBerry.
