Cigars in China and sights in Sichuan

I'm off to China next week for work and I was wondering if anybody from our fine fellowship had successfully ordered cigars in China...

I know that smoking is a big thing over there but cigar smoking?

Also any travel highlights from anybody in Sichuan province, I'll be based in Dujiangyan, any tips for sights around there?

China is a paradise for fakes. I wouldn't buy outside of a LCDH and the prices are very high. Best to bring your own. If you have a chance, go to the Panda Research station in Chengdu - it's a once in a lifetime experience.

I'm with Claus, bring your own cigars to be save.

Chengdu Sichuan is famous for their spicy food. Must try their "Hot Pot" but if you are not used to it go save with entry level:)

You are right at one of the attraction, the irrigation system.

Chengdu has some very interesting museums

Need to take a plane but worth if you have time:

Jiuzhaigou Mountain Lakes are incredible (just a short flight from Chengdu)

Xi' An, Terracota warriors (same, just a short flight from Chengdu)

It takes about 7-10 days since shipping. Mind you I'm based in Shanghai, Sichuan might vary slightly.

If you're into nature stuff (hiking, mountains, national parks) there are some spectacular views in Sichuan.
