SgtCohiba Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I know there has been many topics on this, but I would like your opinions on this. I think its mold, but wish it was plume Behike 54 from 2011.
Maplepie Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Yupp! Grab a tissue. Wrap around the cigar. And gently wipe like the wife ain't home. Once you get all the white stuff out, it's perfectly smokable! Note: check underneath the band, too. Many times mould grows there as well. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry. 2
SgtCohiba Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Thanks Malpepie. I did as you said, but I won't be smoking this just yet. Was just checking on my collection today and this is the only box with mold on some of the sticks.
PapaDisco Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 My method is to use a very small, slightly stiff, oil paint brush. Works great, doesn't damage the wrapper and doesn't smear the mold all over the cigar. 1
leftimatic Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 My suggestion is to send one to the first 20 people to answer this topic. It's the only way to get a true and honest reading. We will get back to you with our findings and then you can develop an opinion from there. But from here it sure looks like mold. 1
