Good Afternoon,

Summer is nearly over so more pleasant evenings in store. I have been into cigars for about 10 years now, and have a decent old and new pile collected from a little island.

I fix people for a living during the day, and on weekends shoot birds or clays, and enjoy cigars a couple of evenings a week.

Love the sweeter/creamier cigars, H Upmann #2, RyJ Short or Wide Churchill. Monte #2 or 4. When in the mood for some twang...switch over to the Partagas D4 or P2 or shorts.

The one marca i cannot stand is Cohiba. Have tried everything from Siglos to Sublimes and every one of them has been a dog rocket to my taste buds, except the secretos which is a little powerhouse of a cigar.

I used to hoard more than smoke, especially some rare old sticks, but now i enjoy smoking them more. Still dont have the guts to light my cuban davidoff though....maybe one day.

WIll have a Behike 52 tonight with a couple of friends and see if it lives up to the hype.

Thanks for all the excellent knowledge and community here, El Prez is fun to watch on youtube. I look forward to having fun :-)

Regards.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. Maybe we can have a little Houston meet up.

I didn't smoke the Behike but enjoyed an 06 RyJ short Churchill. A smooth gentle sweet cigar.

Regards.

Lots of Houston b.o.t.l. here so my question is where do you all smoke ?

For me it's nearly always at home or friends home. Even Downing Street doesn't allow indoors smoking I heard.

Regards.

I smoke at home in Katy, but my B&M of choice is Stogies I'll be there tomorrow. I enjoy drinking craft beer so Petrol Station has plenty of outside seating.

Dang you folks have a nice Houston area group going!

I was born & raised in Amarillo, lived outside San Antonio and been through Houston a number of times....not sure how you can deal with that humidity!

Good on ya for smoking more than hording, that is a great attitude. Sounds like you are in healthcare (me too) and a great cigar really helps with the decompression after a crazy, full moon, friday night :)
