Geaux Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I might be slightly slow..... But I seriously can not find out any info on this site about what the 12:12 is - rules, specs, etc. Can anybody point the slow fella to the appropriate info? Or if there is none - break it down for me. Thanks in advance.
tjohn7 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 12:12 is the most glorious experience of any day. It's a deal, typically around 12pm Brisbane time. Rob lists various handpicked boxes at reduced prices. If he ranks the boxes in terms of quality, PSP is the highest, representing the top couple percent of cigars. HQ represents the next tier, and finally PE is the last. All are of superior quality to most vendors, but are still stratified to allow customers to purchase whatever they like. Rules are self-explanatory. When Rob posts one (it'll be under the Watering Hole/main forum) if you see a box you like email Diana at the email address provided. Once you have confirmation from her then your box is purchased. It is a feeding frenzy so time is of the essence. A search of the forum will turn up more info, but that is the essentials. Occasionally there are also LFTW/LFTH (Live from the Warehouse/Life from the Humidor) which are similar. You can find the rules thru a search. Tom 4
rckymtn22 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Usually is 12 boxes at 1200 hrs Rob's time. At one time is was 12:12:12, For 12 minutes used to added but now usually for 24 hours or the weekend.
stogieluver Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 It originally started out as Rob offering 12 boxes of some marca/vitola at a great price at 12 pm Brisbane time (9pm New York time) most every night Monday thru Thursday. It seems to have morphed into various times and more than a 12 box availability. But it won't stay posted for long before Rob takes it down, so its always a good idea to check the watering hole during the day & evening (New York time) to see if he's posted something. Its always something I look forward to, sorta like a Christmas present most every day of the week. Believe me, you can pick up some great stock at really good prices.
PapaDisco Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Beyond the ground rules described above, I also find it a great way to expand one's cigar horizons. :-)
Blace Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 12:12 is the process of money leaving your account and entering the czar account at a proportional rate. After which you are extremely happy and grinning like an idiot. 2
Geaux Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Thanks all for the reply. So his prices really are for a full box.... interesting. Is it inclusive of shipping price? Also, not sure what the policy is for shipping to the states, and if they guarantee delivery. Is there any of that info out in interwebs-world?
ZinZan Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Ahhhhh, that's how long I've not been bidding on a box. A rebranded lfth/w? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
rckymtn22 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Shipping is included. best to contact Diana about the policies or someone on here can PM you.

Just another of Rob's money making schemes! He's been building a stockpile of cash for the Cuba trip (and to pay for the many gifts to placate Di while he's gone!). 1

About a poor soul tormented by the devil gambling with God that Rob will stop believing in the greatness of CCs if enough dowels, pegs, olive wrapper and wind tunnels are put in mastercases. In the end, all is resolved by the pagan wine god's doing, enabling Rob to slowly (not that slowly) turn blissfull again

In the end, all is resolved by the pagan wine god's doing, enabling Rob to slowly (not that slowly) turn blissfull again and so, Rob did wander cast out of Valhalla to walk among the scorpions in the arid desert, to seek sustenance from the prickly bramble, with no protection from the sun but a navel length toga the dried blood of his shorn wings permanently etched into his skin, a reminder of sins past, present, and forewarning of those to be committed so it is written, so it shall be done
Fuzz AI Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Navel length toga? Oh, great. Rob is freeballing again... 1
srbbones Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 You know how the devil is devious , and his number is 666? Well, El Pres is twice as bad! Tempting us with the apple from the Cuban tree almost daily. Who can resist the "Double Diablo" who's number is 12:12!!! 2

GavLew79 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Right! I've found it! Two questions if I may, apologies for the newbie green-ness. 1. A curiosity: in this weekend's 12:12 I see two prices. One in $USD the other $AUS. The $AUS is much higher, much more than the exchange rate. Why is this? 2. I put "12:12" in the search box and checked "Forums". No results. I then came across this topic and re-entered "What is 12:12?" and still no results. How do I search topics please? Many thanks, Gav

You answered a couple of questions I had as well.

That is the price for Australians.Once the 12:12 posts are finished they are usually deleted or hidden so wouldn't show up in searches.
