I think it's safe to say Party Shorts are pretty widely accepted as A-OKAY as far as short smokes are concerned, and I would fully agree with that. Concerning the Por Larranaga Petit Coronas, I will (possibly) be one of the few to say I've had some aged (3+ years) and some fresh (er, well, more like a year or so), and I liked them equally. I don't think the benefit of waiting is that big of a deal with PLPCs.
