bob25 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I'm 61-62 in my wine cooler. Because of my temp / RH outside it is difficult maintaining higher than that.
sheppsea Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I try to keep both my desktop and (small) cabinet at 65 RH but don't current control temperature, although for the last week or two the RH seems to have shot up to 68-70, maybe there's more moisture in the air and the Boveda and beads are having difficulties catching up. I used to store at 70 but since moving down my cigars are smoking a lot better

subport Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I am in Europe however I prefer 65f/65rh. (or lower no way to go up) My experience with 70/70 was pretty bad. Lots of draw and burn problems and muted flavors. Never really looked back.
... Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Montreal (greater area ) Canada, it seems the lower rh I hit, the nicer the flavours and burn. Currently holding desktops around 62% and loving it. Wineador is stable at 65% and don't care to fuss about it. All cigars move to the desktops ahead of smoking anyways
rtrimbath Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I try to keep my wineador at 65% with a combination of beads and Boveda. I have found like many others that my cigars smoke better at 65% or lower.
