Anthonyjoseph89 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I have a new found fetish for table lighters, the B&M I used to frequent in AZ had one they would light your cigars with....it had a soft flame and a torch on it. I really liked it but never looked into them until now. Anybody else have a table lighter, or better yet a collection?
canucks6024 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Have a big lotus one from a whole back that has Perdomo etched on it. It's nice, handy, but I still prefer those creme-brûlée torch type lighters. They're pretty cheap on ebay.
Lotusguy Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I have the older S.T. Dupont table lighter. It's very nice - posted a picture somewhere in this forum in the lighter roundup thread, I think.
Knilas Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I have a cheapo Alec Bradley table lighter I bought off of Amazon. Works great...soft flame...holds a bunch of fluid. Love it! .
stogieluver Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Just bought a Xikar Havana Collection table lighter. Have had it for a couple of weeks now and love it.
Lotusguy Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Here it is... New price is crazy and even used on eBay they go for decent money. At least I never saw a fake 1
Maplepie Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Keith has a ridiculously awesome one. It looks like one of those alcohol lamps and it is adjustable with an awesome spring action. Also, it was almost completely steel which looked quite steampunk

Anthonyjoseph89 Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Is it that Vector Tri-Pump? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I was looking at those, I really like them. I was uncertain about quality though anybody have experience with them?
Brickhouse Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I was looking at those, I really like them. I was uncertain about quality though anybody have experience with them? I have a Vector Tri-Pump and I love it. It holds a massive amount of fluid and obviously has no issues getting a cigar going. They aren't great for fine tuning your burn of course, that's a job for my S.T. Dupont Xtend. Quality is great and I would definitely recommend. Just ensure you're buying high quality butane.
Rushman Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 we use one of these in the shop in Playa del Carmen. Has been consistent for close to 3 years now.
Guyman1966 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I like my Vector Thundra... but have to take a moment and mention my lighter find. I found the lighter below in the check out line at Wal-Mar for six dollars and change. It is listed here for more than double what I paid. But, overall a good back up, pocket/travel lighter. http://www.amazon.com/PREMIUM-SPARK-MULTI-TOOL-LIGHTER-WINDPROOF/dp/B00FXGY6OW
Maplepie Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Yupp! 100 dollars or pure firepower! Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
jazzboypro Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I've been looking a this one, but did not buy it yet http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Black-Label-Dominator-Quad-Torch-Table-Lighter-Dark-Gun-Matte-LBLT20020-/251369179994

I was uncertain about quality though anybody have experience with them? Yup. Vector tri-pump. Mine's matte black and polished chrome. Bought it and a bunch of other accessories through Mark Neff / www.cigarmony.com a couple of years back. He's a good BOTL from on here and a few other forums. It's been quite a lighter - holds about 1/2 a bottle of the Vector Quintuplus butane too, LOL. Works great, fires up every time. Thing has a bit too much backpressure buildup to it though, so that when you release the switch, it still burns for 2-5 seconds until it self extinguishes. Only issue though, considering it always fires up, and no issues at all with it's performance otherwise. The only other thing is you have to get used to it. It's a massive triple-flame blue flame, and it throws out heat enough to light a cigar a good 5 or 6 inches out from the lighter. But, in the daytime, it only "looks" like there's about an inch of flame there, if that, and it's easy to misjudge it and come in too close. For those that have facial hair, that could be dangerous. At nighttime however, it's impressive to see. Here's Rob using it at the MegaHerf last month...
ramon_cojones Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 claus that's awesome, i can't deal with anything more than single flame it just scorches too much of the stick for me
