Very nice review. ..

Only smoked one myself and still remember it well. I will find another after this review.

Thanks Rye

Thank you!

This was my first of these, and I truly hope not my last! Great little cigar in an elegant but lost vitola.

Nice review mate. Those are great cigars! I dedicated a box (smoke at least one each year from the box) in memory of another 'infamous thin ring cigar lover' Tampa (Chuck).

If it were not for the gravitational pull of the black plume, I would have looked harder for the Chuck Commemorative SdC #2's. It really was my first choice!

Oh… and after shooting and hand loading metallic cartridges for more than 3 decades, I never, and I mean ever, thought of making one into a punch!!! Outstanding!

Cigars these days, you will need a 458 Win-Mag pretty soon!

Cheers mate! -Piggy

Thanks!

A little tip if you plan on making casing punches, and I have now a wide selection of sizes, taper the inside instead of the easier outside. Taper on the outside puts pressure on the shoulder of the cigar, taper on the inside simply puts pressure on the cap piece to be removed.

I am shocked about how long the casings hold their edge. I've had to empty them several times each, and they just keep going!

…well they make chamfer tools just for that purpose!!! -LOL Pretty funny when I think of all the years and I never even gave the concept a thought!

I am gonna' give it a shot!!! Oh, sorry… offensive (politically incorrect) language again!!!nyah.gif

If you don't mind me suggesting mate, you should post up a table for caliber verses ring gauge!!! Just be sure to have a crying towel around…!

Damn, my little marketing brain just goes crazy with new ideas… HeadShot Punches… You could make a fortune! -LOL

Thanks for the review, cool images and ideas!

Cheers,
