What has been a pleasant surprise in 2014?

Folks are always interested in what is smoking well and on the mark. Obviously, something with 10 years on it will likely be pretty good. But what stogie have you smoked this year (with low expectations) that turned out to be a winner?

Not trying to Smallclub your topic but I'm pretty sure we already have this thread running.

For me, pretty much everything I've smoked this year has been great. The two cigars that really exceeded my expectations have been the HdM petit robusto and Punch Punch, I stayed away from any reviews to approach them with an unclouded perspective and was very pleasantly surprised

Nah I am talking about something you thought was not ready to smoke yet or from a box you tried previously and did not like...only to find it had hit its stride.
