n2advnture Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 The RyJ Tubo No. 2 is an awesome fresh off the truck smoke. Down right delicious...lots of cinnamon One of my go to's for the past year
Maplepie Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 One of my go to's for the past year x2. has always been great. very surprising considering the amount it's mass produced
n2advnture Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 x2. has always been great. very surprising considering the amount it's mass produced My thoughts exactly. I haven't had a bad one and the flavor profile has been very consistent and not horribly expensive.
Maplepie Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I haven't had a bad one and the flavor profile has been very consistent and not horribly expensive. plus free scrap aluminium! if you know the correct scrap yard, you can essentially get a rebate on the box
El Presidente Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 My thoughts exactly. I haven't had a bad one and the flavor profile has been very consistent and not horribly expensive. Never been disappointed. Never been enthralled
subport Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Don't like them. Nor No.3's. Starts okay but goes wrong at around the halfway point. But consistently. For that price lots of better smokes are out there. I mean for me. Doesn't fit my palate I suppose.
yankees9588 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 just picked up a 3 pack of the no.2 tubos, i agree, good consistent smokes
n2advnture Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 plus free scrap aluminium! if you know the correct scrap yard, you can essentially get a rebate on the box Man, I never thought of that. I've tossed out tons.
Maplepie Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Man, I never thought of that. I've tossed out tons. more of a joke on my part. they're more useful for other things. list includes [but is not limited to]: Drill holes to use as a mini- humidifier. Just add beads! Pencil Holders Test Tubes Fly/Ant catchers Bumpers for RC cars Decorations Christmas tree ornaments Bombs Bombs
Pedro2486 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 They were my starting out cigar as they used to be available everywhere. Now the flavour doesn't suit me, to me they seem to have a hint of some rancid sweetness that I just can't stomach anymore
sengjc Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Don't like the 3's but 2's and 1's are good value for money.
ErikB Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Got me through the nineties. To me they were incredibly strong back then
TheGipper Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Glad Mark let this one out of the bag. Just realized I hadn't had one of these in over 10 years. Having a 2013 one right now, and it's great bang for the buck. Qualifies for Cheap & Cheerful status.
