Ken Gargett Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Sometimes one just can’t completely cast off the vestiges of a past life so if I may, I wish you a very happy christmas. Hence, please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the summer solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or the secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious or secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. May you have a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2006, which may or may not be five or six years into the new millennium, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped to make Australia great (not to imply that Australia is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, political belief, choice of computer platform or sexual preference of the wishee. By accepting this greeting you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and the warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

Paging HarwellPlant.... Please let us know if Ken's Christmas policy is up to snuff. Sounds pretty good, but you know the sneaks these days - always got a hidden meaning between the lines.... Listen up people....Ken was to Law what Saddam was to world peace. For a Lawyer he makes a great Wine reviewer ;-)
Maverick Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Gee Ken, I am almost glad that I dont get a Christmas Card from you it would be A3 in size. That said, there is nothing more enjoyable than reading a big of legalese, the most beautiful on languages. If I wasnt convinced otherwise that would have been my profession of choice. Ross...
shrink Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Listen up people....Ken was to Law what Saddam was to world peace. The more I think about it, the more inclined I am to agree... Iraq was a much more peaceful place when Saddam was in charge. Never release your tenuous grasp on power, Ken. Never! Oh man, I was starting to get tripped out when I saw that at the bottom of my post. I was a tad tipsy when I typed it, but no where near the point where I could do something and have absolutely no recollection of it. I was beginning to think that ken was abusing his admin powers and adding things into my posts May I add that Rob’s conduct on the forum of late has been appalling whereas Ken continues to act with complete dignity at all times.
