We have all heard of the passport stamping happening in Cuba lately. Several US friends of mine verified and while she is Mexican my wife has been going to Cuba for 15 years and never had a stamp until her most recent trips.

Also heard that here in Cayman, Cayman Airways was turning away US passengers who didn't already have visas, note that the last $20 Cuban visas my wife or I purchased were from the Cayman Airways ticket counter. Go figure.

Are we now supposed to purchase from a travel agency?

Any other info on this from outside this small island?

Nope, just asked like a polite tourist and they were happy to oblige both times smile.png

hmmmmmm... guess i've been wasting my money

that's how i've been getting my Yankee mates over. and 'upgrading' my rooms in the resorts laugh.png

my motto has alawys been: if it ain't broke, don't fix it! biggrin.png. maybe i should if it'll save a tenner here and there, and maybe get rid of those, 'risks' you blokes mentioned...

Sure asking nicely gets past the stamps, maybe. My biggest concern is this new BS that the local airline pulled not granting Americans access without a visa and not selling a visa either like they have always done before.
