Hi all,

This is my first ever review and I look forward to actually concentrating on my experience and describing the flavours. I usually just enjoy my cigars without thought to reflecting upon the experience. I may just pick up on something I don't consciously know.

First Third

Tobacco flavour with hints of sweetness and coffee. The sweetness is only faint at this stage. The first few puffs were a touch rough but the smoothness of the cigar quickly shines through.

Second Third

Smooth and pleasant with the distinctive Cohiba grassiness coming in. Thick white smoke with a sweet aroma. The aftertaste of each puff is sweet and smokey that is quite enjoyable. The nice white ash is glowing.

Really enjoying this second third. Man I love the Siglo II.

From the start the foot of the cigar has had an even line and whenever there is a slight beginning of a canoe it evens out quickly by simply leaving it to sort itself out.

Final Third

All the flavours are enhanced. I'd still describe it as grassy. Hard to describe the flavour but it's just beautiful. I would still describe it as Cohiba grassiness and a coffee aftertaste. The touches of sweetness are no longer present but I promise you that we can live with it!

I will admit to something I never tell anybody. Whilst people assume I drink alcohol with my cigars I actually never do. I have a nice cold can of Coke (unfortunately I love the damned stuff) or an ice cold mug of water. I'm having water with this one.

I don't know if I'm over thinking it but I must describe that the coffee flavour has now developed into a caramel type of flavour. Yes it's definitely a caramel flavour.

At this point I look up and notice that someone has attempted to remove the fly screen to our living room window. Hmmm

We've had a spate of robberies in my suburb and I'm debating wether I share this with the missus who is constantly talking about it with her girlfriends. It's not too common where we live and she's worried about it.

I think I'll get back to my cigar.

Finished now. I can't add too much except to confirm that this stick was consistent in its grassiness and that the coffee tones developed into caramel. I'm happy with that. Time to lay the stick to rest.

I must say that its good to describe the experience in thirds, its as if the cigar knew it was being judged and showed itself in thirds!

I will now go in and face the music with the missus who'll now insist on getting a Rottweiler and a better alarm system.... all things that will cost me money that would be better spent on my collection. I think I'll actually lock my humidors now.

Thanks for the review. Still trying to fall in love with this cigar.

"Aww, look, someone's tried to break into my house.

Well, it can wait til I finish my smoke."

That's the way to do it!

Nice review! Good luck with the home security, and don't forget to add a rider on your policy for your cigars if you don't already have one in place!

Thanks for the review.

I am thinking to get a PSP/HQ Box of Siglo II, so I can age them few years.

But they don't seem to be hot last couple of years. hole.gif
