stogieluver Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Anybody know where I can find the iconic photo/print of Mr. Robaina? I've searched and can't find one for sale. The particular one I have in mind is the one of him in his hat smoking a cigar. I'm fixing up a cigar room in my house and would like to find one to frame.
Diamondog Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Heres a link to an artist ( cigar related) i see post in a forum I use. Took a quick look but didnt see what you are looking for, i may have missed...i think he does commissioned work as well, may be worth a reach out....maybe other artists here too... http://mikeuhren.com
oliverdst Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Here you will find some photos. Maybe contacting the blogger or the photographer you can find exactly what you want. http://cubancigarsculturelifestyle.blogspot.ca/2014/04/robaina-calendar-by-ramon-iglesias.html

Maybe contacting the blogger or the photographer you can find exactly what you want. http://cubancigarsculturelifestyle.blogspot.ca/2014/04/robaina-calendar-by-ramon-iglesias.html Stogie, I'd make sure to contact Matteo before using any of his photos as he's using the photos courtesy of Ramon Iglesias (the guy who makes the portages jars). I'm sure it won't be a problem if it's just for your own home, but best to ask as he may have to check with Ramon who owns the photos. Dara
stogieluver Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Stogie, I'd make sure to contact Matteo before using any of his photos. He's a nice guy and i'm sure will have no problem if it's just for your own home and not commercial! I will. Thanks for the suggestion. Anything I use will be strictly for personal use in my cigar room.
mncz Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Wow, some of Ramon's photos on that page are marvelous. Please do let us know what you go with in the room.
SaintLuis Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Be cool if you could find a big enough version of this one. 1
SaintLuis Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Some other larger ones, if you're looking for photos anyhow. If you want a print that's more artistic, maybe you could run it through some photoshop filters... http://www.dia.ch/image/index/id/74/m/1200/large.jpg http://www.clubalejo.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Booth-Exhibit_Di%C3%A1logo-III.jpg http://d.ibtimes.co.uk/en/full/239177/alejandro-robaina-cubas-most-famous-tobacco-planter.jpg http://duty-free-portal.com/media/wysiwyg/Curing_Barn_Robaina2.jpg http://media.nbcmiami.com/images/1200*900/98521768+b.jpg http://stogiedigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/cigar-wallpaper-alejandro-robaina.jpg *All rights for above hotlinked material reserve to each's respective owners
