Back from Holguin

Went to Holguin from the 18th to the 25th of january. We stayed at the Playa Pesquero. The hotel was great, food was good to excellent in both the buffet and the a la carte restaurants. The beach was awesome for both swimming and snorkelling. This hotel is huge and we never felt it was full or we had nothing to do and the service was perfect!

Now the BAD. From the saturday night at 11 p.m. up to the friday morning it was rain, wind, clouds and cold (for Cuba) sometimes around 19 or 20 degrees with gusting winds and cloudy skies. In those days we had, a generous 4 hours of sun for the whole week. Then friday was nice until 4 p.m. then back to rain and clouds. Saturday was also nice, but we were leaving.

The good, I smoked 35 sticks while I was there and brought back my limit (100). Not the greatest grab, but needed some short smokes and I'm happy with the rest of what I was able to find.

I can post prices I paid but not sure if it's permitted, if a mod can let me know.

I'll check it out. I usually go to Guardalavaca at La Casa Del Tobacco. And Los Flamboyanes. Both great places and close to the hotel.
