I enjoy what i do in work, and despite the look of the building the facilities inside are quite decent.

On the other side of that building the cold sea water of belfast harbour is literally 50 feet away, we cant park our cars there on bad weather days. We get decent views over the lough during the summer but 95% of the time our view is this:

Its also situated in one the biggest industrial parks in the city with george best city airport right behind it. Watching some of the lighter aircraft trying to land in bad weather has my staff terrified of iminent disaster.

And to top it off it can only be accessed via two major arterial belfast city routes so i have to spend over an hour every morning to cover 7 miles.

In summmary its a dump.

But it funds my stereotypical irish alcoholism and helps me buy the odd box of cigars! Lol

On a serious note i love what i do, and i work with some great people. I am in a rare situation where im in a job and dont loathe my boss, in fact we are mates. Also for how much i bust my teams balls they knuckle down and do the work for me, then we all go for a pint on a friday and have a laugh.

Retired now but the job I liked best was when I worked on Towercranes including the one which was on the CN-Tower.A dangerous job still loved it.Thatwas 40 years ago.I have only a few pics from that but no idea where I have them.
