"Now you are not going to have any problem with the cigar drawing."

Couldn't understand what story he said that he broke twenty years ago regarding the box codes.

Pretty sure Cigar Aficionado Magazine (*spit spit*) published a write up back in the mid 90's about decoding the system HSA used for date and factory codes.

They like to claim that that story is the reason we have easily readable date codes these days

Not sure how true that is though

Once they figured out the factory and date code system back then, it was possible the cherry pick boxes from a certain factory if the cigars made there were "better". Doesn't really mean anything now, most marcas can be made in any of the factories.

I have a copy of this video and find it interesting and have watched it a few times, but I don't think its outstanding (I must admit that I also see why some poeple would find James Suckling irritating).

One thing I have never been able to find is an outstanding cigar documentary, one that is completely engrossing, which is a shame as I love a good documentary and there is obviously a facinating story with cigars, both the history and production

I wonder if David Attenborough can be persuaded to move away from nature for a hour or so?? ;)
