AbuAmelia Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Greetings all.... I'm looking to splurge a little tonight, and it's my first time really making a purchase. I know where I'm getting them from, but kinda need help deciding what to buy. I love a creamy cigar with notes of chocolate and even coffee. Any suggestions? Currently my go to right now is a Alec Bradley Prensado. Thanks in advance!
Homebrew Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I never smoked a Alec Bradley Prensado, and am not sure what vitola you are looking for. I get cream in H.Upmann Mag 46, but not much chocolate, but a touch of coffee now and then. I get Chocolate from Bolivar CE, but more leather than cream. But if I were to suggest a first cuban purchase, it would be a Bolivar PC. They always satisfy what I want from a cigar, and are a good stick to start with due to their consistency Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew).
AbuAmelia Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 This is what I got so far. Feel free to let me know if I made a mistake. Just searched google, and some forums gave this. I'm sure you guys know better. Monti- #2 Monti- petit edmundo Coh- genios Mont-#5 Trinidad Reyes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AbuAmelia Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Thanks Homebrew! I'll add some. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Homebrew Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Looks like a very nice selection. You are sure to find several you will like in that selection. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)
OkieJoe Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I agree Dave. If you can't find a stick that tickles your dance in that lot, you might want to reconsider your hobby. Lol
zappaFREAK Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Very nice 1st buy!! I would suggest as part of #2 Vegas Robinia Unicos. These are 1 of my favorites. Milk chocolate flavor. Enjoy
Phillys Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 That is a solid first Cuban purchase, I have thoroughly enjoyed most of the cigars in that list. Great selection, enjoy!
ramon_cojones Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 you did good for what you're looking for
poorman Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 That's a great start. Add the Hoyo #2 and JL #2 as well and you're off and running.
AbuAmelia Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Thank you Gentleman! I had my first Monticristo #2 today, and I almost cried when it finished. I got a toothpick and smoked it until my lips burned. LOL! AMAZING! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Edwhatever Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Looks like you share similar palate with the Cigar Aficianado editors. Doesnt look like your on a budget, so i would suggest the BHK 54. And the 54 specifically. They smoke well young. The 52 seemed to have gone downhill after the release.
Armaniac Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Looks like you share similar palate with the Cigar Aficianado editors. i would suggest the BHK 54. And the 54 specifically. They smoke well young. X2 You will also enjoy the Trini Reyes, they can be very velvety and creamy. Very nice selection!
fookite Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 When I read the description of what you are looking for, the San Cristobal de la Habana El Principe is what jumped to my mind. One to keep in mind for your resupply.
bresdogsr Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Nice first order. You should be able to find a favorite from them. Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
CaptainQuintero Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Can't believe no one has said the montecristo especial or especial #2! Those are cream chocolate and hints of coffee personified..or cigarified!
Laxman Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 You will find what your looking for there. That is an impressive first order well done mate!
Ptowncigar Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Excellent start! Anyone would be happy to have those their collection. And I hope you have a good size humidor
johnhenry Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I agree with Hutch ,you can't go wrong with Party shorts.
