^ just a quote from Anchorman and by no means do I resemble that Title....Besides, buying paperbacks allows me a friendlier cigar budget. My apartment smells more like Spanish Cedar as well.

Apologies to all the FOH that I may have disrespected by posting/trespassing on some earlier threads before I posted this 1 first. I thought that I had read all of the rules here but apparently I missed Canuck's guide..

OK, so back to square 1.

Hi my name is Patrick but my postal carrier calls me PJ.

I believe that my 1st cigar was a Tijuana Mini back in '89 and I was not hooked. Flash forward 10 years and I graduated to better Gas Station brands like Te-Amo and Macanudos which I enjoyed while teaching myself how to golf. Cigars and golf seemed to go hand and hand especially when the Pro @ the G.C. that I worked at installed some humidors in his Pro Shop. I then tried all the NC's that he had in stock: Punch, A.F, HdM; H.UPP etc. I didn't have a clue about this "obsession" that masquerades as a hobby until I bought my first humidor shortly after. It wasn't hard for me to fill and babysit my 20 count humidor to make sure that my hydrometer didn't surpass 70%.

CIGAR BOOM!!!!

I still didn't realize my problem until 3 or 4 humidors/coolerdors later and my need to keep on buying cigars. Through online forums I was introduced to the forbidden leaf and I would seek it out whenever I traveled abroad. I also found reputable providers at this time and I decided to start my monogamy with the 1 type of leaf that I would always be faithful to.

Oh, so there are other Punch, HdM & H.Upp's you say???

I was absolutely blown away with Parti Lusi's, anything Diplo and especially Boli GM's. Those are still some of my favorites as well as most Trinidads & SCdlH's.

I'm definitely more of a smoker than a collector and there isn't a smoke in my humidor that I wouldn't share with a fellow B/SOTL or friend. I believe that cigars are meant to be smoked, shared & enjoyed.

I'm delighted to make your acquaintance.

Best of Luck - PJ
