got life membership at the gabba (was a member from as young as you could be and when a kid, they put up this life membership thing that for $600 - a good whack of dosh way back when - you got life membership for yourself and a guest. they have retrospectively fiddled with it but it effectively allows me access to all cricket and afl) but to be honest, i'm not sure i'll even bother. sitting watching these idiots does not excite me. shame. in past years for an ashes test, i'd have been outside the ground before 6am to make sure i could get a seat behind the bowler' arm.

I think team AUS stand a v good chance. England will be lethargic and will struggle unless Cook and other senior batsman can lead from the front. Worth going Ken.

Its a shame you feel that way but sometimes by voting with your feet and showing apathy in similar quantities to theirs is the only way to get your message across.

I know where you're coming from - I have lost all interest in the England football team and was actively willing them to lose on Tuesday night so we don't have to go through all the World Cup crap again next year! Maybe the shock of not qualifying would have highlighted that we have lost our way and the over-paid, under-worked prima donnas that we now call players need to get some backbone and show some loyalty and dedication for their country!
