kiwicrusaders Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I am a occasional cigar smoker (2-3) a month and love to collect them. My all time favourite cigar hands down is the Regios... It always seems to deliver a really great experience in terms of consistency, strength and flavour. Given I don't buy a lot if boxes (can't really get singles in NZ)... I'm tempted in trying a different vitola of the same marcae, the Series A. Can anyone describe e differences between these two in terms of consistency, flavour and strength ?
sengjc Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I find the Serie A more intense. It is my preferred if the two vitolas and Saint Luis Rey is a preferred marca.
laficion Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I also find the Series A more intense in taste and flavours, I always have them in stock in my humidors .
bassman Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Agree- and the Serie A is being cut, so get some while you can. Personally I like the SLR DC best, but will take the A over Regio every time.

mychetboy Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Serie A is more coffee/strong imo compared to the regios. I think the regios is more 'balanced'. They are definately different in taste.
Pilgrims Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Really like Regios, this makes me want to grab some A's as well...
