So there are those of us (not me), that have a

Pretty extensive collection, knowledge base, etc.

I'd like to know from you all what boxes are hits.

Realizing that cigars can hit there stride after years of aging, we all know whether or not it will be good even it's young (in general). So, lets make a list of the good stuff. There might be a thousand different answers with the subjectivity of it all. But when you reach into your humidor, what makes your mouth drool??? Like, "Oh man, I really want one of those, but I'm almost out!!!" Or, "Damnit, 5 years just can't come fast enough!!!"

Then we can all drive ourselves nuts trying to hunt down said boxes ; )

You already said it. Keep this thread alive long enough and every single cigar in the Habanos catalogue will be mentioned.

Indeed - every single thread like this ends up with the same meaningless result

Clint, it must be possible because I've seen other

Guys talk about it on these forums. I think that if

You are able to build a rapport with a vendor, they might do you the favor. Generally speaking, though, I would venture to guess that most vendors would tell you to take a hike unless you

were a consistent shopper

Would all or most of the cigars from a particular box code be more or less of the same quality?

I wonder what the odds are of tracking down a specific box code and getting the quality that was expected based on other samples? I'm assuming chances are better than a coin toss?

Just a little better than a coin toss. Rob himself says that he sees the worse and the best with the same box code…

I think a great idea would be for those who have been buying HQ & PSP boxes from Rob since the program started to share the contrast between those and regular boxes. I remember Keith (CanuckSARTech) once did a side by side of a PSP Monte 4 and a regular Monte 4. I think this would help weed out the crappy boxes if all we are comparing are HQ and PSP box codes. Go for the best and see what's still good.
