Under $100.

How do you like your draw? Fairly open or less than that? Do you like a filter?

http://www.invictabriars.com/ The owner, Pete, was trained by Dunhill carvers. His draw is fairly open on the one I have from him. A straight bulldog. The nice thing with Pete is he will work with you to tweak a pipe if you want it just slightly different than the picture. Only downfall I have with these are the stem could be better. I clinch and my stem gets chewed a little. If you are a biter (you know I am), then ask if he has a tougher stem option.

http://www.4noggins.com/savinelli.aspx Savinelli is a great pipe for under $100 at most mass retailers. I have a Canadian Long John and it is a stellar pipe. They have filter options if you like that.

Lucite stem and nice shape imo. One of my favorite looking Savs.

Kaywoodie has a bunch of pipes under $100. Some of their lower end pipes can be hit and miss, but their $60+ pipes are pretty consistent.

Open draw look at Invicta first. More restricted draw or filter my money is on Savinelli and the mid range Kaywoodie.

Just want to share my recently acquired Vauen Purisme. It's look is a love it or hate it type but one thing fore sure, it smokes really well. No gurgling even from the very first smoke. Also, despite its size, the bowl is smaller than what one would expect but I'm not complaining.
